Description

The United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has a requirement for tree and brush removal services for the Santa Ysabel Indian Reservation Emergency Watershed Project. This project will be a performance-based service contract. The project is located in San Diego County, California. The major items of work are Pollution Control, Mobilization and Demobilization, Traffic Control, Tree Removal, Brush Removal, and Fire Prevention Requirements (These items are all lump sum.) This work is to be completed within 90 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Contractors are required to have a valid license as a Class A Licensed Timber Operator. The small business size standard is 500 employees. Site visit to be held 12/14/05, 9:30 a.m. Take Interstate 15 to Escondido; Exit HWY 78 East (towards Santa Ysabel-approx 30 miles); turn left onto Hwy. 79, head north (approx. 5 miles); turn right to enter the Santa Ysabel Indian Reservation. Meet at the tribal hall immediately to the right upon entering the reservation. Offers are due 12/28/05 by 3:00 p.m. The solicitation documents will be made available via FedBizOpps website approximately 12/12/05.
