- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested. Questions may be emailed to Marla Sparks at marla.sparks@in.usda.gov. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-06. If you are a contractor under a GSA schedule contract, include the contract number and whether or not you are quoting the GSA contract price. Following is a description of the minimum requirements: Copier requirements: automatic document feeder, black & white printing, print at least 16 copies per minute, paper tray with additional paper tray capable of holding paper sizes 8.5 x 11, 11 x 14, & 11x17 and multiple paper weights, duplexing, collating, reducing and enlarging, and stapling. Offer shall include a monthly full coverage maintenance plan. Bidder shall specify whether supplies are or are not included. If supplies are included a complete list of the furnished supplies is required. Offer shall state maximum on-site response time for troubleshooting of any maintenance/repairs. Set up of copiers by January 01, 2006 is desired with training at time of delivery. Delivery will be coordinated with each field office location; acceptance shall be made at time of delivery. Offerors should provide best delivery schedule. Specification sheet shall be submitted with your offer that provides sufficient information for the government to determine if the copier offered meets all the Government's requirements. This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, FAR 52.214-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, and FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications applies to this acquisition. FAR Clauses can be found at www.arnet.gov . The Offeror is required to provide their DUN's Number and required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) prior to award. For more information about registering, contact CCR Regional Assistance Center at 888-227-2423 or visit their website www.ccr.gov . A contract/award will be offered to the offeror who?s offer is most advantageous to the government, considering technical (capability of the item offered to meet the agency need), price and past performance. Multiple awards may be made depending on the capability of the offeror to provide maintenance in specific locations. Offers may be sent to USDA, NRCS, 6013 Lakeside Blvd, Indianapolis, IN 46278, Attention: Marla Sparks; emailed to marla.sparks@in.usda.gov or faxed to (317) 290-3225. One Copier will be located in the following cities in Indiana along with estimated usage: Danville (12000); Lebanon (48000); North Vernon (48000); Greencastle (48000); Albion (30000); Lafayette; (24000); Petersburg (36000). Two Copiers will be located in Indianapolis (120,000 per copier). Base performance period will be from 1 Jan 06 (or date of delivery) through 30 Sep 06. Please provide lease pricing along with cost per copies for the base period plus 2 option years (1 Oct 06 - 30 Sep 07) and (1 Oct 07 - 30 Sep 08) for each location separately. In awarding the contract, all offers will be evaluated to include the base period plus the option years. Propose alternate models to account for copy usage. Provide information on all features for each copier offered. FAR 52.217-5 Evaluation of Options (Jul 1990) and FAR 52.217-9 also apply to this solicitation.
