Description
The Joint Force Command (JFC) Headquarters in Brunssum, The Netherlands intends to advertise for International Competitive Bidding (ICB) on works and services within the framework of the NATO Military Budget Committee (MBC). Eligible firms will be invited to bid to provide janitorial/domestic cleaning and extra cleaning on an on-call basis for all JFC Brunssum and Maastricht installations. JFC HQ Brunssum is serving as the Host Nation for this project, which was authorized by the MBC. JFC HQ Brunssum intends to use the two envelope bidding procedure. The estimated value of this project and the estimated length of the contract have not been specified. The reference for this project is IFIB-ACO-BRU-06-11 and all correspondence in relation to this procurement shall refer to this reference. The U.S. Department of Commerce will be using the same reference. SCOPE OF PROJECT JFC HQ Brunssum is soliciting the provision of janitorial/domestic cleaning and extra cleaning on an on-call basis for all JFC Brunssum and Maastricht installations. No other specifics on the project are available at this time. The IFIB package will contain material classified up to NATO UNCLASSIFIED. BIDDING PROCEDURES Firms must be nominated to the bidders list with the required Declaration of Eligibility. All firms whose facility is located within the United States must be declared eligible by the U.S. Department of Commerce. The U.S. Department of Commerce does not serve as the Host Nation for NATO projects. The Host Nation is JFC HQ Brunssum. Only firms that the U.S. Department of Commerce has declared eligible will be allowed to bid. A Declaration of Eligibility (nomination letter) will be submitted on their behalf to the Host Nation. As provided for under MBC rules, nominations will continue to be accepted by the Host Nation after the IFIB is issued and until the bid closing date, which is 23 February 2006.
