- The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) requests to procure Consulting Support that will provide graphic arts conceptualization, design and production services as required by the Perinatology Research Branch (PRB). Tasks to include but not limited to: 1) Produce media (prints, slides, display, etc) ready for presentation and/or publication within specified time frames; 2) Design text presentation slides for use in conferences, lectures and presentations; 3) Design statistical graphs for presentations, publications and display using data obtained from research projects by the PRB; 4) Design medical and scientific illustrations and diagrams for presentations, publications and display; 5) Design handouts, brochures and other written materials to be used for training of research staff, patient education, patient recruitment by health care professionals who my refer patients for PRB clinical trials; 6) Design multimedia presentations for teaching or lectures; 7) Design World Wide Website for PRB; 8) Design logos, stationary and other materials as requested; 9) Maintain computer equipment and software; 10) Archive computer files containing slides and other materials. This work is to be performed at the Hutzel Women?s Hospital/Detroit Medical Center. The RFQ will provide further tasks. This is set aside for small businesses. Award will be made based on Best Value. Responsible vendors that are capable of providing NIDDK with this service may request a copy of the RFQ in writing or by FAX to 301-480-4226 to the Contracting Office prior to the closing date of this notice. It is anticipated that RFQ NIH-NIDDK-06-673 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ. The anticipated award date is January 13, 2006. Quotations must be submitted in writing to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases 6707 Democracy Blvd., Room 774C, Bethesda, Maryland 20817 Attention: Patricia Haun. Fax quotations must contain offerors names, address, telephone number and fax number. FAX quotations will only be accepted if dated and signed by an authorized company representative.
