- This is a pre-solicitation notice to synopsize the water delivery requirement for Farish Recreation Area, US Air Force Academy, Colorado. The contractor shall provide the water, personnel, vehicles, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items or services necessary to deliver potable water to 3 government furnished 1,500-gallon water tanks. Deliveries are estimated at 156 annually with 3,000 to 4,000 gallons per delivery. An additional provision shall be made for some on-call, weekend and holiday deliveries. The contractor shall also ensure proper bacteriological testing in accordance with all laws, regulations and statutes. The performance period is projected from 1 Mar 06 ? 30 Sep 06, plus four one-year option periods that may be exercised by the government. Solicitation is set aside for total small business. Applicable NAICS code is 484220. Offers will be evaluated by price and contractor responsibility as defined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 9.104-1. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and On-line Representations and Certifications (ORCA) to receive award. It is anticipated that the request for bid will be issued by 3 Jan 06, and will be available by Internet only. Sealed bid will be the method of vendor response.
