- Description
- Sole Source. The United States Army Contracting Agency Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Precision Filters, Inc 240 Cherry St in I thaca, NY 14850-5099. The existing equipment was previously purchased from Precision Filters, Inc and to maintain baseline characteristics with currently owned units, additional cards and units must match exactly to be compatible with existing equipment. The units must have identical physical dimension for interchangeability, must be identical electronically in performance and standards, have identical software control, have identical functions embedded in the firmware and hardware, and be compatible with existing cabling and interface connections. This contract will be for the purchase of two (2) 28314-A-BE6-M101 Quad Wide-Band Charge Conditioner with 40 kHz 6-Pole Bessel Filter with 28334A/28314 Charge adapter test adapter and with 28334A/28314 TEDS ad apter test adapter and seven (7) 28104-A-BE6-6 Quad Bridge Conditioner w/ 6-pole Bessel, BC1/124 Pro. Bridge Configuration module, BR1/124-350-10762 Bridge Completion Module to be used with other like systems already in use at YPG. Award of this requirem ent will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firms technical capability to meet these requirements by 19 December 2005, 8:00AM MST. See Note 22 with the exception that the time period for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 6 days instead of 45 days.
