Description
Combined Synopsis / Solicitation Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Please refer to Request for Quote Number: W91GXZ-06-Q-0001. The provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-06, effective 31 October 2005, class deviation 2005-o0001 and DFARS DCN 20051114 edition. The requirement is an open market solicitation for SIC Code: 5021; NAICS Code: 423210; Closing date is 12 January 2006 at 1700 hrs. Baghdad, Iraq time. The National Communication and Media Commission (NCMC), Baghdad, Iraq will house up to 150 employees; to include the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), nine Commissioners, and Administrators. The Contractor shall provide office furniture for an open office space plan to accommodate the staff, and to create a healthy working atmosphere. The following tasks are required to complete this requirement: 1. Present the proposal; 2. Present required submittals.; 3. Procure the furniture upon receipt of the approved Furniture Layout Plan. ; 4. Shipping and transporting materials to work site.; 5. Installation and erection of furniture.; 6. Correct items on a punch list.; 7. Clean the work sites of all trash and debris and remove from the facility.; 8. Complete the Commissioning. (The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is the best value to the Government. Evaluation Criteria. The contract award decision will be based on the following criteria: 1..TECHNICAL CAPABILITY; 2 PRICE; 3 PAST PERFORMANCE. Weight of evaluation to be Technical Capable is of greater value, whereby, price is equal to past performance. Particularly important is the present and past performance deliveries and installations in Iraq. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the requirements. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, Emailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party.
