- Principle components of the work include: 1. Jack and sustain existing bridge deck and beams off current pier bearings, as submitted and approved, for removal and replacement of all eight bottom bearing plates; 2. Removal and replacement of grout pad as specified; 3. Furnish and install eight bottom bearing plate assemblies for the access bridge pier as shown on drawings, include cleaning and coating of new and existing metal fabrications as specified; 4. Lower existing bridge deck and beams on to replacement bearing plates; 5. Clean and coat metals of existing bearing assemblies as specified. The work is located approximately 8 miles southeast of Garrison, North Dakota, in McClean County. The Solicitatioan package will be made available on or around January 11, 2006. Proposals are tentatively due on February 10, 2006 at the Bureau of Reclamation's Great Plains Regional Office, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana 59102. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation; additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 for each additional set. All reasonable sources may submit a proposal which be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 237310, the size standard is $28.5 Million. This acquisition is unrestricted. The estimated price range for this project is $100,000 to $250,000. The specifications and drawings will not be made available electronically on the internet, however a complete solicitation package is available in hard copy.
