- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While is it understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopses and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase: Fast Response Temperature Sensor. The equipment should be able to meet the following salient requirements: The sensors must be compatible with FISO technologies, Veloce 100 systems. The temperature sensor should have a range of 0 degree Celsius to 120 degree Celsius; Response time less than 1 milliseconds; Custom length bare tip; PTFE 3.0mm O.D. and 1.7mm O.D. with protective cap; Sliding Sleeve Package 100 um fiber; 1 meter length; Resolution of plus or minus 0.3 degree Celsius; ST connector. The receipt date for the equipment should be no later than two weeks after receipt of order. Quantity: 50 Award is to be made under simplified acquisition procedures on an all or none basis. The closing date is COB 19 December 2005 anticipated award date is December 23, 2005. Pricing should be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. THE GOVERNMENT SHALL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY (CBD) NOTICE.
