- The Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate under full and open competition a Firm Fixed Price contract and will utilize procedures under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall provide Nitrobacter as required by the Naval Air Station JRB, Willow Grove, PA. Nitrobacter is the bacteria placed in the water to eat raw sewage in the Waste Water Treatment Plant. The estimated yearly quantity is 90 pails; each pail consists of 5 gallons of nitrobacter. The contractor will deliver the ordered amounts, as required by each individual delivery order no later than 15 days after date of order. FOB point is destination. The resulting contract will be for a base year with four one-year options. The NAICS code is 325199 and the size standard is 1000 employees. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
