- The Government is soliciting quotes for an initial, annual, and semi-annual inspection of various fire suppression systems contained in dining facilities, clubs, child development centers, and other locations that have such systems. There are a total of 31 locations aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, and the Naval Weapons Station, Fallbrook. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed priced requirements contract with a base period and four option years, to the offeror who's quotation demonstrates the best value to the Government. The resulting contract will also include maintenance and repair, as well as refilling of discharged cylinders and hydrostatic testing, as required. This acquisition is reserved exclusively for small business. The applicable NAICS is 561621, with a size standard of $10.5 M. The Government intends to significantly reduce the number of Contract Line Items Numbers (CLINS) upon award, depending upon the pricing provided by the successful offeror. A site survey of some of the facilities is scheduled for 9:00 AM on 6 January 2005.
