Description
The Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory is currently seeking potential sources, large or small businesses, for conference facilities with a Secret classified certification, during the period of 21 through 27 January 2006. The conference facilities shall include include ten (13) Meeting Rooms and sixteen (16) Breakout Rooms for Advanced Conference Set Up from 20-21 January 2006; ten (13) Meeting Rooms and sixteen (16) Breakout Rooms from 22-27 January 2006; one (1) Plenary Conference Room for 22 May 2005 through 27 January 2006; one (1) Staff Administration and Command Center from 22-27 January 2006; one (1) Meeting Rooms for 21 January 2006; and one (1) Plenary Conference Room for 22 January 2006 through 27 January 2006 for the Expeditionary Warrior 2006 Wargaming Conference. The facility shall be capable of providing two (2) terminal hookups with Internet access in meeting room. Fifty-Four (54) computers connected throughout the gaming spaces for Game LAN (Locations TBD based off IT diagram supplied by Wargaming). The Government will bring its mobile LAN and will need Internal IT support. Provide Fifty-Four (54) port connections with cable and power strip throughout the gaming space for Game LAN for game execution from 21-27 January 2006. Some external wiring will need to be authorized for the Government to set up its classified network external to the contracted facility network. The Government needs to have the ability to run classified wires throughout the facility, ceiling clips and non-residue tape will be used. All wireless networks in place in the designated gaming area must be turned off during the game for security reasons. This sources sought synopsis does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), a Request for Quote (RFQ), or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a formal solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The U.S. Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respo nd to this announcement. Any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement will NOT be reimbursed.
