Description
NAICS Code: 541620 THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO CORRECT THE NAICS CODE IN THE DESCRIPTION FIELD. THE CORRECT NAICS CODE IS 541620. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a requirement for services to monitor and analyze HDI and VOC in the Lawrence, MA area. This procurement will be made under full and open competition. The EPA, 109 T.W. Alexander Drive, Research Triangle Park NC intends to award a purchase order for monitoring and analysis of HDI and VOCs in and around auto body shops in Lawrence, MA. The Contractor will gather data on chemicals being emitted during spray painting operations at automobile body shops in the area. The Contractor shall use air quality monitoring devices to measure the amount of specified chemicals in the shops and also in the neighborhood residences surrounding the shops. The data will be used by EPA in conjunction with air quality modeling to determine if using new equipment and/or procedures can have an effect on the air quality in the surrounding communities. The associated NAICS code is 541620 "Environmental Consulting Services" with a size standard of $6.5 million in average annual revenue. EPA anticipates a firm-fixed price award. Performance will begin February 15, 2006. The RFQ will be issued approximately 12/23/05, and will be available at http://www.epa.gov/oamrtpnc/q0600036/index.htm. It will be your responsibility to frequently check the site where the solicitation is posted for any amendments. Proposals will be due at a minimum 21 calendar days after the RFQ is issued. Offerors will be evaluated based upon price and technical factors, including past performance, with technical more important than price.
