Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation # ISS0039 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation to purchase influenza vaccines. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-2006. This is a full and open competitive procurement. The contractor shall provide the following: 250 vials of Flu Vaccine, 50 vials of Pnewumonian Vaccine, 50 vials of Avian Vaccine. The period of performance for this contract is October 1, 2005-September 30, 2006. Contractor will not ship vaccines before notifying the Health Services Office. The shipper's name and all tracking numbers must be included. Price responses to this solicitation are due by 2:00 pm (EST)on December 21, 2005 to Chelsea Baker, via email at cbak@loc.gov. All questions must be submitted by email. No questions will be accepted after December 19, 2005. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. We reserve the right to award without discussions.
