- The announcement that appeared on December 6, 2005 is changed as follows to add additional specifications for the Cummins NHC 250 Engines, NSN 2815-01-074-4963. OEM Spec (Original Manufacturer Specifications) is defined as Remanufactured or New part s meeting OEM Specifications. All engines will be painted, cleaned and ready to install in 5 ton truck without further modification. OEM Spec Major Components are: OEM Spec cylinder block, heat clean, magnaflux, pressure test, align honed, machine top de ck, new upper and lower bushings, new plugs and hardware. Magnaflux and OEM Spec rods with new bushings and bearings. OEM Spec crankshaft and new bearings. New pistons and rings, new sleeves, new camshaft and bearings. OEM Spec cylinder head, heat clea ned, magnafluxed, pressure tested, new inserts, valves, springs, guides, injection wells and hardware. New cylinder head bolts. OEM Spec fuel injection pump and nozzles, including plunger, barrels, filters and tips. OEM Spec oil pump replacing plunger, spring, bushings, gears as required. OEM Spec water pump totally, new bearings and seals. Rocker boxes will have seals and plugs replaced. Cam followers will have rollers, pins, locks and plugs replaced. OEM Spec oil cooler with new elements, gaskets an d seals. OEM Spec rebuild fan clutch and rebuilt power steering pump. OEM Spec starter and alternator. New thermostat and seal. New filters (oil, fuel and water). Assemble engine to OEM specifications. Engine will be fully dynamometer tested and test log included with each engine. Every engine will be painted and packaged individually. Warranty will be one year from date of installation or 18 months from date of shipment from supplier whichever occurs first. Bidders are encouraged to provide rebuil t engine price with and without core exchange. The date set for receipt of offers remains unchanged for 2:00 PM CST Jan 4, 2006.
