Item 0001 is a Shroud. NSN: 2840012213641RV. P/N: 794566. Shroud Inner 16 TH DIM 23.820 INS. OD X 23.403 INS ID X 1.604 INS Wide. Material: AMS 5616 Stainless Steel. Function: Directs air flow into the combustion chamber. Application: TF33. I.A.W. current drawings. Quantity Range MIN 1 ? MAX 75 EA. Destn: Tinker AFB OK 73145-3032. Delivery: October 2006. Government/Commercial, new/unused surplus is acceptable. The approximate issue date of solicitation will be 28 December 2005. The anticipated award date is February 2006. This is a small business set-aside. This item is competitive. Data package will be provided and First Article requirements apply. Qualification requirements: Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design can be considered approved sources for this design, or manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the Government to be similar in complexity and criticality can be considered approved sources for this item. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Written quotations are required. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which will be considered. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with United Technologies Corp. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source selection process.
