Description

Reference Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) Sources Sought Notice 2006.062, due 30 days from the date of this ad. This is NOT an Invitation for Bid (IFB) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). The point of contact for Qualification Request Pa ckages is the Source Development Officer for the Competition Management Office (AMSTA-AQ-C) at: marketsurveys@tacom.army.mil . Under PL 98-369 (CICA), this Sources Sought Notice is seeking to identify additional suppliers for: Noun: Hydraulic Transmission ; NSN: 2520.01.161.4941; MP/N: 9P5382; Vehicle Application: D7G Tractor, currently being procured noncompetitively. Please note that in some cases technical data may not be available. Be advised that, under the bailment program, contractors may buy or b orrow sample parts for the purpose of reverse design engineering.
