- The VA Mid-Atlantic Healthcare Region (VISN6) Central Acquisition Service has a requirement to provide all labor and materials necessary to perform Full Service maintenance on the mobile MRI unit located at the VA Medical Center, Salisbury, NC. Full Service maintenance shall include Service management reports, cryogen coverage, and magnet refrigeration service. This announcement constitutes a sources sought notice. It does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Interested parties must submit their capabilities in writing to Melissa Garrick, Contracting Officer, VA Medical Center, Building 4 Room 207, 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301 no later than 3:00pm local time December 21, 2005. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with a sole source procurement with Philips Medical Systems the only known source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
