Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.Solicitation No. W91151-06-Q-0020 is issued as a Request for Quotations. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circul ar 05-06. This solicitation is to lease 28 High Pressure Cleaning System for the First Calvary Division at Fort Hood installation. The specifications for this equipment: (8.0 GPM, 3000 PSI, Belt Drive, 208v-3 phase, 1.5 HP motor, factory installed automati c shut down; auto pilot; dual gun system). Cost includes stainless steel nozzle tips; 100' high pressure 1/2 inch hose; delivery; set-up; testing; installation; fuel; and a maintenance contract that covers parts and labor for the entire period of performa nce. Also vendor will conduct certified instructor training classes for the units. The period of performance is 3 January 2006 - 14 July 2006. The North America Industry Classification System code applicable to this acquistion is 532490. Size standard is 6 .0M. The Government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price order resulting from this solicitation. FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference. Offerors will include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 ALT I, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with their quotations. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and is incorpo rated by reference. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and is incorporated in full text with the following clauses checked as applicab le: 52.203-6; 52.219-14; 52.222-21; 52.222-26; 52.222-35; 52.222-36; 52.222-37; 52.225-13; 52.225-16; 52.232-33. The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acqu isitions of Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and is incorporated in full text with the following clauses checked as applicable: 252.225-7001; 252.232-7003. The following additional FAR clauses are applicable and incorporated in full text: 52. 217-5, Evaluation of Options; 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services; 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Terms of the Contract; and 52.232-18. Award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible offeror whose quotation conforms to the solicitation. Offeror must provide the DUNS Number, Cage Code and Federal Tax-ID number along with their quotation. All offerors must be CCR Registered in accordance with DFARS Provision 252.204-7004.
