Description: The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a sole source hardware modification to contract N00010-04-C-0014 with The Boeing Company, P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO 63166-0516 for ancillary mission equipment (AME). This procurement is in support of the United States Navy (USN) F/A-18 E/F aircraft. Boeing is the designer, developer and integrator of the F/A-18 E/F aircraft and it's unique equipment. As such, Boeing is the only source possessing the unique knowledge, experience, and technical data required to perform the described effort in the requisite time frame. A firm fixed price modification is contemplated. See Notes 22 and 26!!
