- The Fort Eustis Directorate of Contracting is conducting market research in order to identify the availability of sources that can operate and manage a Central Issue Facility (CIF) at Fort Lee, VA. This is not a formal solicitation or a request for proposal. This is a sources sought announcement seeking only small business responses in order to determine small business participation in the acquisition. For the purpose of small businesses, the NAICS code is 493110, General Warehousing and Storage, wi th a $23.5M size standard. This request for information is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, and the Government will not pay for information received as a result of this announcement. The results of this request may result in a futur e synopsis announced in FEDBIZOPS as a request for proposal or an Invitation for Bid. Operating and managing the CIF may include the issue, receipt, requisition, exchange, warehousing and turn-in of Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment in acco rdance with AR 710-2 and other regulatory requirements. Also included in operating and managing the CIF is the operation and maintenance of the Standard Army Management Information System (STAMIS). Your response shall include the following information: C ompany Name, Company Size and Socio-Economic status (i.e., Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, Woman-Owned Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, etc.), number of employees, revenue for the last three years, relevant past performance on same/similar work dating back no more than five years and your companys capability to do this type of work. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necess ary functional area expertise and experience to compete for such services.
