- This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis for the Multi-Service Market Office (MSMO)?Colorado Springs. The following information is provided to assist the Air Force in conducting Market Research of Industry to identify potential contractors for this effort. The Air Force is contemplating a single-award contract for these services. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and three 12-month option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. All contractor personnel assigned to this effort will be required to have a Secret Security Clearance at the start of period of performance. Contractor personnel assigned to this contract must maintain the required clearance level for the duration of this effort. Specific security requirements will be identified in the DD Form 254, Department of Defense Contract Security Classification Specification. The contractor will be responsible for providing competent professional Registered Nurses with current state licensure (state in which the nurse is working) to manage patient calls per protocols, maintain call/patient records, provide feedback to practices/providers as requested, provide back-up and support to each other, provide feedback to program and medical management, and maintain appropriate nursing skills. The Government is looking for a contractor able to meet the following summary of objectives: (a) Provide labor, technical, operational, administrative and management support for the Nurse Advice Line (b) Provide a toll free number for the Colorado Springs healthcare region (c) Perform all caller interactions utilizing recognized and approved clinical protocols and guidelines (d) Recommend OTC medications to beneficiaries as determined appropriate (e) Use a computer software program that will collect data that can collate calls by type of call received and information delivered (f) Book appointments in the CHCS system for after-hours callers requiring a next-day appointment The Government does not intend to make an award on the basis of this Sources Sought Synopsis or otherwise pay for the information solicited herein. Copies of the submitted information will be forwarded to the Multi-Service Market Office (MSMO)?Colorado Springs, for review. A Request for Proposal (RFP) may be issued on or about 26 Jan 2006. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals will be on or about 27 Feb 2006. The anticipated contract award date is 20 Mar 2006.
