- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) number W53W9L-06-15391. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Ci rcular 2005-06. NAICS is 488991; small business standard is $21,500,000; FSC is 8135; SIC is 4783. Requirement is 100% Set Aside for Small Business concerns. Any resultant contract shall be Firm-Fixed Price, and one award is anticipated. Shipping is FO B Destination; Inspection and Acceptance is at Destination, Crane Army Ammunition Activity Receiving Bldg 148, Crane, IN 47522. Packaging shall comply with Preservation, Packaging, Packing, and Marking in accordance with ASTM D3951-98 (2004); standard pr actice for commercial packaging, ASTM international. A certification of conformance shall be provided with each shipment in addition to partial shipments if are authorized at ti me of award. The contractor supplier shall highlight any equal offers to the standard requirement in ASTM D3953-97. A conformance certificate IAW FAR 52.246-15 shall be required in addition to any equal products offered and accepted by the Government. T he CONTRACTOR SHALL certify the material meets all minimum requirements in the standard requirement of ASTM D3953-97 prior to award. A technical evaluation shall be required in order to evaluate any equal offers. Contractor shall call out any variation in quantity. SEAL-STEEL STRAPPING CLASS H HEAVY DUTY-PUSH TYPE STYLE III-FITS 1 ? STRAPPING FROM 0.031 TO 0.039 THICK FINISH B GALVANIZED GRADE 1, IAW ASTM D-3953-97. SIZE 1 ? x 2 3/16 . DELIVERY by 15 FEB 06. Shipment must include an original invoice, packing slip and a signed original Certifica te of Conformance (COC). The furnishing of the COC is a condition of acceptance.
