Description
CONTACT David J. Werner, 732-532-8371. The purpose of this market survey is to identify sources and potential sources of manufacture for the TS-4348/UV Test Set, NSN 6625-01-323-9584, top-assembly drawing A3139775 (with pending revisions) and specifi cation MIL-PRF-49318A(CR) (with pending revisions). A similar market-survey was conducted in September 2004; respondents to that survey should also respond to this survey. The TS-4348/UV Test Set is a self-contained test devise that permits its operator to make go/no-go decisions regarding the spatial-resolution adequacy, under prescribed light levels, of the following night vision devices: AN/PVS-4/4A, AN/PVS-5A/5B/5C, AN/TVS-5/5A, AN/VVS-2(V)1A/2A/3/4, AN/AVS-6(V)1/1A/2/3, AN/PVS-7A/7B/7D, AN/PVS-10 and AN/PVS-14. The government intends to purchase the TS-4348/UV Test Set via a five-year, indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ), competitive solicitation/contract that guarantees purchase of approximately 5,000 TS-4348/UV Test Sets and contains an o ption for zero to 10,000 additional units, resulting in an estimated maximum purchase quantity of 15,000 Test Sets during the contract's five-year life. Interested sources and potential sources of manfacture shall send the following information, via e-mail , fax or regular mail, to the contact listed below on-or-before 13 January 2006: [1] Is the interested source a small or large business and, if a small business, its subcategory (Non-disadvantaged, Disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, Women-Owned, etc.); [2] A de scription of the general manufacturing capability of the interested source and its applicability to the TS-4348/UV procurement;[3] A description of identical or similar test sets produced by the interested source that includes, as applicable, the governmen t contract number(s), government part number(s) and/or NSN(s), the quantites produced per month and in total, and the dates of manufacture.
