Description

Requirements type contract for meals, lodging and transportation for applicants processing through the St Louis Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) during the base period of 1 AUG 2006 through 31 JUL 2007 with four option periods. Services ar e for a supper meal, overnight lodging, breakfast the next morning and transportation to the MEPS. It is estimated that there will be 15,000 applicants processing yearly. The number of applicants daily will possibly reach 132 maximum, but average 64 applic ants daily. This contract will be awarded on a Best Value basis using the tradeoff source selection process. The appropriate NAICS code is 721110 with a size standard of $6M. All responsible sources may submit a proposal(s), which will be considered. The s olicitation will be posted on the Fort Knox hompage website at: http://doc.knox.army.mil on or about 22 Dec 05. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted to this website. Contractors are cautioned to check this website for amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled. Contractor is responsible for all costs of producing and mailing their proposal. Proposal must be written and submitted in original plus four copies and mailed to Directorate of Contracting, SFCA-SR-KN Bldg 1109 B, STE 250, 199 6th Ave, Fort Knox, KY 40121-5720. Please mark outside of package with solicitation number and opening date as stated in the solicitation in Block 8. Proposal will not be accepted by ema il or facsimile.
