Description

NAICS: 332439, Small Business Classification is 500 Employees. FSC: 8140. This procurement action is for the purchase of 13,333 each PA157 Metals Can Assemblies. Each assembly includes one Metal Can and two Supports in accordance with various ap plicable drawings and specifications. These drawings and specifications will be released when the solicitation is issued to the AFSI Web Site. This will be an all or nothing contract award. Delivery: First Article quantity of 7 each Metal Can Assemblie s are due 60 calendar days after contract award. Notification of disposition due 15 calendar days after review of First Article. Production quantity of 13,333 metal can assemblies are due approx 60 days after approval of first article test. Inspection a nd acceptance will be at the contractor facility by Government personnel. After acceptance by the Government the metal can assemblies shall become Government Furnished Material FOB Destination, Crane Army Ammunition Activity, Crane, IN. This will be a fi rm fixed price contract. All contractors who provide good/services to the DOD will be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). You may register via the Internet at www.ccr2000.com or contact the CCR at 1-888-227-2423. APPROXIMATE issued dat e is 10 Jan 06 with opening date APPROXIMATELY 30 days from issue. The solicitation shall be issued via the Internet at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ and http://www.fbo.gov . Any changes to the solicitation shall also be posted to these web sites and is the contractors responsibility to check these sites daily for any posted changes. FedBizOpps numbered notes 1 and 9 apply.
