- An indefinite delivery contract is contemplated, a three-year basic plus two, one-year options. Multiple awards based on the solicitation are probable. NSN: 2840-01-311-4795PR, Part Number: 9505M53G06, Noun: DIVERGENT SEAL Item Description: SEAL IS A PART OF THE EXHAUST NOZZLE ASSY AND IS USED TO DAMPEN EXHAUST GASES. MAT IS STEEL DIMENSIONS ARE 0.024 IN. MIM. 0. 028 MAX THICKNESS, LENGTH IS 21.32 IN. MIN. 21.40 IN. MAX. Appl: F110-100-129 ENGINE, F16/D ACFT. Destination: Specified in future orders. FIRST ARTICLE GOVERNMENT TEST APPLIES. 100% small business set aside. BEQ for 3 year basic period is 14,990 ea; Minimum quantity for basic period: 5375 ea, Maximum quantity for basic period: 22,485 ea. Quantity ranges will be specified in the solicitation. Delivery: 210 days after each individual order. Option Year 1, BEQ is 3,896 ea; Min Qty is 0 ea, Max Qty is 5,844 ea. Option Year 2, BEQ is 3,725 ea, Min Qty is 0 ea, Max Qty is 5,587 ea. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 17 Nov 2005. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 19 Dec 2005. The anticipated award date will be 28 Feb 2005. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. The solicitation must be printed from FedBizOps by the contractor. This office will not mail solicitations. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. Specifications, plans or drawings related to the procurement described are available. Directions for obtaining the specifications and drawings will be available with the solicitation. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at the time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements and is cited in each individual solicitation. Note: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
