Description

Travis AFB intends to award a sole-source Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for surgical instruments and implants for knee and spinal surgeries to Medtronic Sofamor Danek 1800 Pyramid Pl; Memphis, TN 38132-1719. The BPA will allow purchases up to the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. Medtronic is the original manufacturer of the variety of products used for the surgeries conducted at our facility. The surgeons? training and experience on the usage of these instrument sets/products and technique underlies their unique capability giving the patient the confidence and opportunity for a successful operation and recovery. Additionally, the ability for this company to have a representative present for each surgical procedure also helps in the use of these items. All delivery is to be made to Building 777, Travis AFB, CA; deliveries shall be scheduled as surgeries are needed. All responsible sources may submit a proposal in consideration of these type items, which shall be considered by the agency. NAICS Code 339112 applies. SIC 3841 applies.
