- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division (EFLHD) is soliciting to procure calibration services meeting the ISO/IEC 17025 requirements for the AASHTO accredited EFLHD Materials Laboratory located in Sevierville, TN. The Provider must comply with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025-1999 and must be accredited through an accreditation body that is recognized by the National Cooperation for Laboratory Accreditation (NACLA) or the InterAmerican Accreditation Cooperation (IAAC). The Provider must be familiar with the requirements of AASHTO R 18 and must either have an AASHTO accredited laboratory or have provided calibration services to an AASHTO accredited laboratory. Calibration work must conform to the most current published standard of AASHTO R 18 and is designated as Calibration, Standardization, or Check (C/S/C work). The Provider will furnish their own equipment/tools and materials, as well as the trained, qualified technician(s) to perform the C/S/C work. The C/S/C work will be performed in two scheduled on-site service calls. The Government will consider proposals received within 15 days after the date of publication of this synopsis.
