Description
Construct a three-building facility which includes a Maintenance & Inspection Building A and two earth-covered Munitions Storage Igloos, Buildings B and C. Work includes construction of concrete slabs-on-grade, a pre-engineered metal building, on-si te pre-fabricated concrete panels for earth-covered igloos, suspended tile and gypsum board ceilings, gypsum board partitions, a reinforced concrete separation wall, interior and exterior lighting, HVAC and plumbing systems, a septic system, communications , electrical work, an air compressor system, site work, sidewalks, bituminous and concrete paving, security fencing, and utilities including underground electrical distribution. Options include the following: Option 1  Construction of Bldg E, pre-engin eered metal Inert Storage Building and related site work. Option 2  Additional 20 modular length to Building B, Munitions Storage Igloo and related site work. Option 3 - Additional 20 modular length to Building B, Munitions Storage Igloo and related s ite work. Option 4 Building A, Maintenance & Inspection, exterior masonry cavity walls to 8-4 height. Option 5  Building A, Maintenance & Inspection, admin area finishes and casework. Option 6  Construction of Bldg D, pre-engineered metal AGM Build ing and related site work. Option 7  Provide separate trench for communications lines. Option 8  Provide fiber optic cable from Bldg 1800, patch panels, equipment rack, and wiring for LAN in Bldg A. Option 9  Provide conduit and manhole system for co mmunications lines. Option 10  Provide additional 50 pair copper communication cable. Option 11  Design and provide aerial distribution system instead of underground, from existing pad mount switch to project site. Option 12  Design and provide aeria l distribution system instead of underground, to perimeter lighting. This requirement will be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable procurement conducted in accordance with procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15.101-2. Proposa ls will be evaluated on the technical factors; Contractor Experience and Past Performance. The price range for this project is $1 Million to $5 Million. The referenced North American Industry Classification System has a sized standard of $28.5 Million. This solicitation will be a Request for Proposal and a fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this procurement subject to the availability of funds. This Procurement is Set Aside for HUBZONE Certified contractors. Period of performance is 36 0 days. The solicitation will be issued on or about 9 Jan 2005 and proposals will be due on or about 9 Feb 2005.
