Description

The Food and Drug Administration intends to issue a purchase order to IEEE, Inc of Piscataway, Ohio on a sole source basis for the following: IEEE/IEE Electronic Library (IEL) which provides access to almost a third of the world’s current electrical engineering and computer science literature, featuring which quality content from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEE). The IEEE/IEE Electronic Library Includes: IEEE journals, transactions, and magazines; IEEE conference proceedings; IEE journals; IEE conference proceedings and Current IEE standard. These items must be in technical compliance with Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Standards. For more information on 508 Compliance see www.Section 508.gov. This award is being issued on a sole source basis because the service is proprietary to IEEE, Inc and there are no resellers. No REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Not withstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting FDA’s requirement as stated herein may submit a capability statement, which if received within the 10 calendar days of the date of the announcement will be considered. A determination to compete this procurement based on a response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses or questions regarding this posting must be in writing and can be sent via email to icofield@oc.fda.gov. No phone calls will be accepted.
