Description
DESCRIPTION: THIS AMENDMENT NO. 1 IS BEING ISSUED TO ADD THE SCHEDULE OF PRICING AND SOLICITATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE RFP IDENTIFIED HEREIN. THIS PRICING SCHEDULE IS INTENDED TO OBTAIN PRICING FOR THE IDIQ ENGINE OVERHAUL SERVICE CONTRACT - AN AMENDMENT NO. 2 WILL FOLLOW CONTAINING THE STATEMENT OF WORK AND SCHEDULE OF PRICING FOR THE FIRST TASK ORDER TO BE AWARDED UNDER THE IDIQ ENGINE OVERHAUL SERVICE CONTRACT. TO OBTAIN A COPY OF THIS COMPLETE RFP (INCLUDING AMENDMENTS) CONTACT JANE A. ALLEN AS INSTRUCTED BELOW. SCHEDULE OF PRICES ITEM NO. DESCRIPTION PRICE 0001 Disassemble engine and perform an inspection as required under the Pratt and Whitney overhaul manual. Provide the Government with an inspection report including all items identified in Section A.1 ? Overhaul Services. $_________ 0002 Loaded Hourly Labor Rate $_________ 0003 Discount Percentage on New Parts _________% 0004 Discount Percentage on Overhauled Parts _________% 0005 Labor to remove and replace (R&R) engines at the Contractor?s facility, and return the aircraft back to service. Fixed Price for One (1) R&R each $_________ 0006 Labor to remove and replace engines at AOC in Tampa, Florida, and return the aircraft back to service. Fixed Price for One (1) R&R each $_________ SOLICITATION INFORMATION . This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 488190. The Small Business Administration size standard is $6,000,000. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the Agency. Submission of Proposals All proposals shall be submitted in the format and quantity specified below: (a) One (1) originally signed proposal and three (3) additional complete copies (b) Volume I, Business Proposal (c) Volume II, Technical Proposal prepared in accordance with FAR 52.212-1 entitled Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. The proposal shall be in sufficient detail to be evaluated using the criteria set forth in this solicitation. (d) One completed FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications Commercial Items (e) Insurance Certificate (f) Copy of FAA Repair Station Certificate (g) Copy of current PT6A-27 Engine Service Center Certificate (g) A copy of the offered warranty, of 500 hours or one year of service whichever occurs first. Minimum Acceptance Period Reference Clauses & Provisions - FAR provision 52.2 12-1 entitled ?Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items?. This paragraph is hereby modified to read as follows: (c) Period of acceptance of offers. The Offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm for a minimum of sixty (60) calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers. Add the following to the Clauses & Provisions Section: Facsimile Bid/Offer Modifications (a) Definition. ?Facsimile Bid/Offer Modification,? as used in this solicitation, means a modification of a bid or offer, or withdrawal of a bid or offer that is transmitted to and received by the Government via electronic equipment that communicates and reproduces both printed and handwritten material. (b) Bidders or Offerors may submit modifications to their bids or offers by facsimile. The modification must arrive at the place, and by the time, specified in the solicitation or request for proposal. (c) Modifications sent by facsimile that fail to furnish required representations or certifications, or that reject any of the terms, conditions, and provisions of the solicitation or request for proposal, may be excluded from consideration. (d) Modification sent by facsimile must contain the required signatures. (e) The Government reserves the right to make award solely on the modification sent by facsimile. However, if requested to do so by the Contracting Officer, the apparently successful Offeror agrees to promptly submit the complete original signed modification. (2) Availability or condition of the receiving facsimile equipment. (3) Incompatibility between the sending and receiving equipment. (4) Delay in transmission or receipt of modification. (5) Failure of the bidder or Offeror to properly identify the modification. (6) Illegibility of the modification. (7) Security of the information contained in the modification.
