- This amendment was created to correct unrecognizable characters in the description previous submitted today. Project Description. The project consists of Full Depth Concrete Repair 1,293,438 sf Full Depth Reconstruction (18.5) of selected Protland Cement Concrete (PCC) slabs on the East Apron and Taxiway Alpha. Includes excavation and hauling of degraded pavements, replacement of base course, repair of concrete joints, airfield markings, remediation of fuel contaminated soils, and site improvements . The magnitude of the project is between $15,000,000.00 and $20,000,000.00. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement action. NAICS Code 238990 applies. The project duration is approximately 307 calendar days (which includes optional periods totaling 184 if exercised at the discretion of the Government). The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation is via the Internet. The solicitation will not be issued in paper for mat. Notification of amendments may be made by facsimile, floppy disk, compact disk and/or postings to the Internet. The media selected for solicitation amendments shall be solely at the discretion of the Government; accordingly, as separate notification s for each amendment may not be sent to planholders, bidders shall be responsible for monitoring the Internet for amendments. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award.
