The Soliciation/Request for Proposal will be forth coming and will be available via the DSCC Website address (URL) is http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp/. The response date referenced above is estimated. Issue date is on or about 01/11/06 with the Response date on or around 02/10/06. Note: Copies of this solicitation will only be available via the World Wide Web. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Purchase request number: YPE05339000409 NSN: 5945-01-531-7741; Relay, Assembly. Approved source: The Boeing Co. (82918) Part number 798-01404-1. This will be a large purchase contract. Various incremental quantities will be solicited. The basic quantity will be for approximately 22 each to two separate desinations. New Cumberland, PA.and Tracy Ca. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. See numbered notes: 26 Adequate data for the evaluation of alternate offers is not available at the procurement agency.
