Description

VA Illiana Health Care System, Danville, IL intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Softmed Inc., Silver Spring, Maryland to provide personal and/or telephone maintenance and support to the Innovative Health Systems (IHS) Softmed Medical Transcription Software. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NAICS 811213 applies to this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements, may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within ten (10) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer (90CSC), VA Illiana Health Care System, 1900 East Main St., Danville, IL 61832-5198 or via fax to (217)554-4590. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, VA Illiana Health Care System will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Softmed.
