Description

CONTACT Peter Wong, Electronics Engineer, (732) 532-0271. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for the 10 KW Generator, Alternator, NSN 6115-01-484-6250, Part Number BCI162N16, CAGE 4X687. Newage Corporation, CAGE 4X687, manufactures the Generator. The Generator is used on the 10 KW Tactical Quiet Generator (MEP-903A and 903B). The Army is interested in awarding a one-time contract to purchase quantities of 35 with option of another 35. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or ac ceptance of this unit is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing this unit must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-G-EC, Building 1200W, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. The response must include documenta tion such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit that will be physically and functionally interch angeable with the unit from the listed source. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose indented by the Army.
