TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS 5341-5121 DUPLEX FILTER Governor Duplex Filter Housings SCOPE OF WORK Intent The following specifications pertain to the purchase of a hydraulic oil duplex filter for use on (Woodward governor cabinets and Woodward pump control stations) at McNary Lock and Dam. The equipment requires the oil to be filtered to a 5 micron before it e nters the pilot valve and echelon controls. Scope The successful bidder shall furnish and deliver new industrial duplex filters, to McNary Lock and Dam within 60 days of award of contract. Series Duplex Filter Eopoe EPE series duplex filter model number (40LD0013H10SLA0008B4.2-XOPE) or Approved equal. The filter housings are for use on the Woodward style governors, (the governors control the speed of the generator at a specific set point regardless of the Mega W att load.) Requirements Duplex Filter: shall be rated at not less than 350 psi, shall include automatic air eliminators, automatic filter bypass valve set at 5 bar, visual and electrical indicators set at 4.2 bar, shall have filter head flow of not less than 2.5 gpm, air bleed va lve, and shall be supplied with provisions for a 3/8 NPT connection. Staining hydraulic oil contaminates up to a 5 micron. The filt er housings must allow the filter to stay in service during the changing of the filter element. Delivery Contractor shall make prior arrangements with the Government Personnel at site to deliver and unload the equipment during Normal working hours. Normal working hours at Project is 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The delivery shall arrive b etween 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. during normal working days. This is to allow for unloading and inspection. Delivery address is as follows: McNary Project, 82790 Devory Road, Umatilla OR. 97882-1230 Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following FAR and DFARS clauses and provisions shall apply to this acquisition: 52.252-2, 52.211-6, 52.2 04-7, 52.232-33, 252.225-7000, 252.204-7004 Alternate A, 252.243-7001, 52.204-3, 52.219-1, 213-4. The Far Clause 52.214-21 Descriptive Literature shall apply to this acquisition: 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.219-6.
