- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) China Lake, CA intends to enter into negotiations for a firm fixed price contract on an other than full and open competition basis with Bruker-Biospin Corporation, 2859 Bayview Drive, Fremont, CA 94538 for a Bruker 200 MHz and a 400MHZ Avance Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) system upgrade. The upgrade shall give the Government's current 200 MHZ and 400 MHZ solutions Bruker Avance NMR systems, z-gradient capability and vibration damper pads. The solids probes and amplifier/GCU board must be capable of being run on Avance 200 MHz system with SGI Bruker Xwinnmr software version 2.6. Solutions probes and amplifier/GCU board must be capable of being run on Avance 400 MHZ system with SGI Bruker Xwinnmr software version 3.0. The solicitation will close on or about 02/06/06. Award will be issued under the authority of the test program for commercial items (FAR 13.5). This requirement is limited to Bruker BioSpin Corporation because this upgrade consists of proprietary information and is totally compatible with the existing systems currently in use. Any firm believing they can provide the Avance System Upgrade that meets the specifications may submit a written response to be received by the Contracting Officer no later than (15) days after this notification is published. Responses shall provide documentation to include brochures and/or literature that show they can meet the requirements stated in the solicitation. All requests must reference RFQ N68936-06-T-0033.
