Description

Annual requirement for Barge Surveys and inspections as mandated by title 46 of the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations. The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with ABS Americas, ABS Plaza, 16855 Northchase Drive, Houston, TX 77060. Therefore, this notice is published for informational purposes only. No additional sources are being sought at this time. Services to include field surveys, dry-docking surveys, and associated technical documentation. For a one-year period of performance with four one-year option periods. Inspect and accept at destination. FOB Destination to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA 98314. Written requests may be emailed to joseph.lownik@navy.mil. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by FISCPS.This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed.
