Description

Furnish and deliver F.O.B. Destination to Massena, NY, Ekki (Lophira Procera) timbers. All timbers shall be in 10 ft (3.05 m) lengths. The following dimensions are the cross-sectional dimensions of each timber prior to one corner being beveled. Item No. 1 - 14 in. x 10.25 in. with boxed heart ? Quantity 50 pieces; Item No. 2 - 14 in. x 13.25 in. with exposed heart ? Quantity 80 pieces. All timbers shall be free from sapwood, rot, wane, cracks other than normal checking, and any other such defects. Delivery is required by October 1, 2006. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded on or about March 1, 2006. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be available for downloading from www.fedbizopps.gov on January 23, 2006. All eligible and responsible small business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation. Written quotations must be received by February 24, 2006. Central Contractor Registration is mandatory to be considered for award. Register at www.ccr.gov. Attention: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
