Description

DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2, Albuquerque, New Mexico, has a requirement for an experienced contractor to furnish all labor, personnel, permits, licenses, and equipment necessary for installation of four sections of up to 1,968 feet Corten Steel tri-beam vehicle guardrail along Leslie Canyon Road. Project work site is located 17.5 miles north of Douglas, Arizona in Cochise County, at U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, San Bernardino National Wildlife Refuge, 7628 North Highway 191, Douglas, Arizona 85607. The estimated price magnitude is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The total period of performance is expected to be 120 calendar days or less. Bid evaluation will be on firm fixed price, low bid, responsive and responsible contractor. This acquisition is full and open competition. The NAICS Code number is 237310. The small business size is $28.5 million. The exact timeliness will be indicated in the solicitation package when issued. We anticipate a pre-bid site visit to be held starting the week of February 7, 2006. Information on the pre-bid visit will be included in the solicitation package. The solicitation is anticipated to be available on or about January 31, 2006. Hard copy bid packages will not be mailed, unless specifically requested. We prefer that the Request for Quote package be obtained at http://ideassec.nbc.gov and http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The complete solicitation includes bid package specifications, and map drawing.
