Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Q4780060801 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-06. This requirement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis with full and open competition. Materials shall be delivered to Nuttallburg Railroad Grade Trail, Fayette County, WV. Deliveries shall be made between 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Required to deliver up to 400 tons per day as requested between March 6 and August 31, 2006. The requirement is for approximately 1950 tons of sandstone gravel, various types and sizes. The National Park Service reserves the right to adjust up or down the amount of tons. For full text of FAR Clauses, the website address is www.arnet.gov. Quotes must be signed, dated, DUNS number, TIN number, address and phone number. Contractor must be registered on the Central Contractors Register at www.ccr.gov. All offers must include the unit price per ton for the crushed stone. Venders wishing to respond to this RFQ should provide this office with a price quote on company letterhead for the requested items showing unit price of the stone. Submit quotations to the attention of the Contracting Officer and mail to NPS, New River Gorge National River, PO Box 246, Glen Jean, WV 25846.
