- The Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract and will utilize procedures under FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The Contractor shall provide Audio Visual (AV) and Information Technology (IT)Equipment Rental and Support for the 45th Navy Occupational Health and Preventive Medicine Workshop at The Hampton Roads Convention Center (HRCC), 1610 Coliseum Drive, Hampton, Virginia 23666. The Performance Period for the resulting contract will be from March 17, 2006 through March 24, 2006. All offerors shall include any charges that will be incurred from the host hotel in their offers (i.e.) sound system, Internet connections, and electrical usage fees. In addition, note that travel and lodging is the responsibility of the offerors and shall not be included in the offer; the Government is not responsible for travel/lodging. A complete RFQ package will! be available on or about 09 January 2006 by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows: http:// www.neco.navy.mil. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 532490. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from! this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to b e performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
