Quotes are being requested by Federal Highway Administration’s Simplified Acquisitions Department with the intent to procure structural plate pipe for a construction project located on Annette Island, Alaska; Solicitation number DTFH70-03-Q-0021 is a Request For Quotation prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, the acquisition of commercial items in conjunction with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition procedures; this is a combined synopsis/solicitation and this announcement constitutes the only solicitation; additional information can be viewed at the solicitation link to this notice; a hard copy solicitation will not be issued; the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisitions Circular FAC 2001-13; all firms responding must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR); the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) IS 332322 and the industry size standard is 500; this Request For Quotation is unrestricted; the estimated price range for this procurement is anticipated to be >$100,000 and <$275,000; telephone quotes will not be accepted; once the solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments to any or all documents; FAR Provisions and Clauses can be viewed and/or downloaded from http;//www.arnet.gov/far; due date for quotation is June 30, 2003; you can download and fax or mail your quote along with supporting data to, Federal Highway Administration Attn: Patricia Mahurin Simplified Acquisitions, 610 East Fifth Street, Vancouver WA 98661; Fax Number (360)619-7855; contact Dan Reid for specifications on pipe (907)254-0272.
