- The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) Edinburg, TX , intends to procure 25 PK of Gypsy Moth (+) Disparlure Laminate Dispensers and 900 PK of Gypsy Moth Vapor Tape II (kill strips) 50/pouch. This will be a FIRM-FIXED price award. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Edinburg, TX. Award is subject to First Article Approval-Government Testing, and inspection and acceptance testing at destination. First Article samples and production quantities shall be produced at the same facility. Specifications available upon request-contact Gloria Benson at gloria.j.benson@aphis.usda.gov. Small business set aside under NAICS Code: 322221 with a size standard of 500 employees. OUOTATIONS ARE DUE BY January 20, 2006 10:00 a.m. Central Standard Time.(CST). Submit faxed quotations to Gloria Benson, Purchasing Section at fax number (612) 370-2136 with signed original forwarded by mail to: USDA APHIS Purchasing, Butler Square 5th Floor, 100 North Sixth Street, Minneapolis, MN 55403. All offers must be signed. Offers should included tax payer identification number, DUNS number and business size. Purchase is conditioned upon passage of first article testing. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate WRITTEN REQUEST WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number and a statement that the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular. Applicable FAR clauses are incorporated by reference.
