- CONTACT Point of Contact Andrew C. Flora; 732-532-2544. MX-9872-1 Mechanical Scanner; p/o AN/AAQ-11. This is a market survey to locate potential sources of supply for an MX-9872-1 Mechanical Scanner Assembly; p/o AN/AAQ-11, NSN 5855-01-052-4956. Th e government will be buying this part using the drawing SM-D-807690-1, Rev. N. The government is planning to purchase 120 each of this part on a letter contract based on Urgency, but is interested in knowing whether there are any other qualified sources th at would be capable of immediately satisfying the Governments requirements and scheduling for 120 units. The contractor shall be able to deliver 20 units 90 DAC, 40 units 120 DAC, 40 units 150 DAC, and the final 20 units 180 DAC. Further, in the Governme nts estimation, the contractor must demonstrate in its response that it possesses sufficient experience and is qualified to produce and reliably deliver these items without the necessity of imposing First Article Requirements, and at the specified deliver y rate. This Mechanical Scanner is a component of the AN/AAQ-11 Pilot Night Vision Sensor, which is a First Generation Forward Looking Infrared system that provides thermal imaging capabilities for combat personnel. If a Small Business, please identify as an 8(a), HUBZone, Disadvantaged, Women-Owned, or non-disadvantaged. Past Performance for this or similar i tems. The contractor shall submit their part numbers, NSNs, or nomenclature and the date of the last manufacturing effort of the same or similar items for which they have production experience. Government contract numbers, if applicable, shall be provided. The contractor shall cite the quality standard (either Government or Industry) that is presently in place for this effort. The contractor must provide information to show that it possesses adequate production plant facilities (equipment, tooling, and spac e) to enable it to produce and deliver this item in accordance with the Governments requirements.
