- The Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC 28310 intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items: 1 each Stratus OCT III, with NDB, 1 printer, operator and service manuals, one year warranty and installati on. This requirement is sole sourced to Carl Zeiss Meditec, Inc given that this equipment is its proprietary technology, IAW FAR 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Any firms believing that they can provide the equipment and its components may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 3 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firms ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the system and data without causing any financial hardship. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. This notice is neither a request for a competitive proposal nor a solicitation for offers. A deter mination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procuremen t in the future.
