Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement including the attached Solicitation Number SAQMPD-06-R-1027 constitutes the only solicitation that will be issued. Solicitation Number SAQMPD-06-R-1027 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-06, November 14, 2005. Pursuant to Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 637(a)(1)), and the Memorandum of Understanding for Streamlined 8(a) Contracting; the Department of State hereby set-aside the Operation and Maintenance of the Charleston Regional Center Requirement as a competitive award amongst eligible 8(a) program participants. The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 561210, Facilities Support Services. The small business size standard is 30 million dollars average annual receipts (past 3 years). All responsible 8(a) firms may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency. Only those offerors responding to this announcement shall be considered.
