Description

Provide A/E services to include site investigation, design development, drawings and specifications, cost estimates, construction period services and site visits. This project will include the following: Renovate third and fifth floor west areas for new Medical Teleconference area and physician's offices. Project is required to meet new technology for telemedicine and virtual patient care and VA Space Criteria requires additional space for doctors. The interior renovations under this project shall include new walls, doors, floor tiles, ceiling tiles, painting, wall coverings and ADA handicapped height handrails. Work under this project will include architectural, interior design and color coordination design. Interior designer must coordinate material and color selections with VA staff to insure appropriateness in the clinical setting. Interior designer will also be working with in-house facility engineer for complete project design. The estimated construction budget is between $250,000-$500,000. The area of consideration for this acquisition is restricted to firms within 50 driving mile radius of the VA Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre. Interested firms must submit two (2) copies of SF330 with appropriate documentation to Contracting Officer (693/049B), VAMC, 1111 East End Blvd., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711 by close of business February 10, 2006. NAICS 541330 applies. This is not a request for proposals. This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. See numbered notes 1 & 24. Award is subject to availability of funds.
