Description

Notice of Contract Action for a Sole Source Procurement SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT FOR the purchase of Modeling and Simulation Test and Evaluation Resources (MASTER) project Product Data Manager (PDM). DESC: INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT WITH MatrixOne, Inc. The Air Force, Edwards Air Force Base, CA intends to award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price contract to MatrixOne, Inc., 210 Littleton Road, Westford, MA 01886. The Sole Source purchase with MatrixOne will be for the following software items that comprise the Modeling and Simulation Test and Evaluation Resources project Product Data Manager. One (1) APALET-TK Adaplet Development Toolkit, one (1) ADK Application Development Toolkit, one (1) APEXFW-SVR Application Exchange Framework and two (2) SRVLIC-5-RMI eMatrix System Licenses. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the software itesms. Responses may be sent via e-mail to willie.martin@edwards.af.mil or mailed to 412 TW/PKDB, 5 South Wolfe Ave, Edwards AFB, CA 93524-1185, Attention: Willie Martin. Fax Number: 661-275-7855. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Air Force not to open the requirement to open competition, based on response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Air Force. If the office has not received any affirmative written responses by: 1200-noon 13 Jan 06, a Sole Source contract award will be pursued with MatrixOne, Inc., 210 Littleton Road, Westford, MA 01886.
